Mocha Syrup

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup Dutch process cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons light corn syrup

Instructions

Combine the coffee and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Heat, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved. Add the remaining ingredients to the pan and stir to combine. Simmer over mediumlow heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens slightly, about 4 to 5 minutes. Let cool to room temperature and refrigerate until ready to serve.
