Tomatoes in a pan

Heirloom tomatoes are one of the glories of the summer. They can be enjoyed raw, or with a little drizzle of olive oil and fresh goat cheese. Or, alternatively, there doesn’t seem to be anything quite like when fresh tomatoes hit a cast iron skillet. Paired with a homemade gnocchi (although good quality store-bought would suffice), you have a lovely meal.
