Monica is a born and raised New Jerseyen, which explains why she still says "cawl" and "cawfee" even though she went to graduate school in San Diego and lived a decade in Portland, OR, where she met her NH-native partner and home birthed their son. In 2014, the trio moved back east, pedaling the first 600-plus miles on a family bike tour. Now living on NH's Seacoast, Monica usually overthinks things, often misplaces her keys, and tends toward unschooling with her partner and kiddo. During the rest of her time, she teaches writing, volunteers with the NH Community Rights Network, and dreams of becoming a professional dancer and midwife on the side. No problem.
